In the Room
Friendly family-run motel, good internet access, comfortable room.
Breakfast uninspired, rugs need cleaning.
Location was good. Plenty of hot water for shower. Based on price - the room lived up to my expectations.
Both crank out windows had broken handles and could not be closed/locked - as a result we had to take everything out of the room when we went out for the day. Spider web with dead bugs between window and celing. Can't have toilet flushed during shower or you'll get burned. Free breakfast consisted of 2 choices of cereal, blueberry mini muffins, oatmeal, english muffins (stale) with butter, jelly & cream cheese. Coffee with powdered creamer.
Excellent value; clean; comfortable, friendly staff, good location, quiet.
Didn't get cell phone reception
Bad smell in the room and not very clean. Horrible breakfast.
Clean, smelled fine, plenty of parking.
Breakfast consisted of coffee, half-and-half, and cereal--but no milk.
Family running the place was pleasant and polite. Room had adjustable a/c and a fan to keep the temperature where we liked it. The beds were pretty comfy and the bathroom was cleaner than mine at home.
Multiple old stains on the carpet were a little gross. The sides of the mattresses were also stained with what I really hope wasn't blood (but kind of looked like it), and these were visible as the sheets only tucked over the first mattress. They should replace the mattresses or if not that, use bedskirts or something to at least hide that staining because it's quite unpleasant. Exterior of the motel is in dire need of repainting, as it is peeling badly. This was the only place in town that we saw still had a vacancy on the weekend of a major college graduation and I think I know why. Prefer the Williamstown Motel on Route 2.
It was very clean, the TV worked and the wifi worked.
The furnishings and decor are very dated. The rooms have a stale smell.
